New York Fashion Week (NYFW) 2024 is shaping up to be a highly anticipated event, with an exciting lineup that reflects both the rich history and the evolving future of fashion. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has released the preliminary schedule for the Spring/Summer 2025 collections, running from September 6th through September 11th. This year’s NYFW is particularly notable for the mix of established icons and fresh faces debuting on the New York stage.

The event kicks off on Friday, September 6th, with Area’s much-anticipated show at 1 PM, followed by other big names like Brandon Maxwell and Willy Chavarria. Notably, Off-White will make its New York debut on Sunday, September 8th, at 12 PM, which is one of the highlights of the week. Other international debuts include Ronald van der Kemp and Toteme, adding a global flair to the typically American-centric event.
Returning heavyweights such as Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, and Tory Burch are expected to deliver their signature styles, while newer names like Melitta Baumeister, the winner of the 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, will close the week on September 11th. This blend of veteran and emerging designers underscores NYFW’s role as a platform for innovation and tradition alike.
The CFDA has also taken steps to enhance the week’s logistics and attendee experience, responding to feedback and making improvements to support the designers and the broader fashion community.
