The Knicks parade hits Thursday and Juneteenth fills all five boroughs Friday: your NYC week, June 15–19
New York hasn’t thrown a Knicks championship parade since 1973 — it’s Thursday morning down the Canyon of Heroes. Around it: World Cup watch parties in every borough, Juneteenth celebrations from Staten Island to the Bronx, free Shakespeare, Bryant Park’s full weeknight slate, outdoor movies, jazz and markets.

Where: Battery Park north on Broadway through the Canyon of Heroes to City Hall, Manhattan.
Why go: The Knicks’ first NBA title since 1973. Confetti down the Canyon of Heroes, tens of thousands of fans, and municipal buildings lit blue and orange that night.
Before you go: Expect heavy crowds and packed trains (Bowling Green, Wall St, Fulton St, City Hall). Get downtown early.
