Big NYC Weekend Event List: July 10–13, Sorted by Borough

Illustrated NYC weekend events map showing the five boroughs with markets, parks, concerts, block parties, outdoor movies, and waterfront activity.

Big NYC weekend event list: July 10–13, sorted by borough

I pulled together a borough-by-borough list of public events for Friday through Monday. There are a lot of public events, park programs, markets, concerts, block parties, open streets, movies, and World Cup-related activations on the calendar, so I kept this useful: day first, then borough, then time and location.

A couple of heads-up items before the list:

World Cup activity is still moving through the city calendar. Expect event setups, watch parties, activations, and crowd pockets around Midtown, Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, The Battery, Brooklyn Bridge Arches, and Lou Gehrig Plaza in the Bronx. If you are crossing Midtown or heading near a public viewing area, check your route before you go.

Saturday is the heavy block-party day, especially in Brooklyn. There are dozens of scheduled street closures, open streets, and neighborhood events. I included the more useful public-facing ones below, but this is not every single listing.

Parks programming is in full summer mode. Outdoor movies, Shakespeare, concerts, farmers markets, volunteer cleanups, family camping, open runs, public beaches, and public pools are all on the schedule.

This is not meant to be every single thing happening in NYC — just a useful scan of public events, markets, parks programming, parades, concerts, block parties, outdoor movies, and things that may affect crowds or travel. Some city records list setup windows or general event windows, not always exact performance times, so check the event organizer before making a long trip.
